Waterstock House, pump house with attached wall and gatepier
(Formerly listed as Garden House at Waterstock House)

Pump house, wall and gatepier. Gatepier C18/C19; pump house 1898. Limestone
ashlar and coursed squared rubble; old plain-tile roof. Square pump house, of
one storey plus loft, has arched chamfered doorway and lancets in 2 gables.
Rhenish-helm roof has weathervane finial. Lead hopperheads are inscribed
"WHA/1898". Building is incorporated into boundary wall which sweeps up on both
sides with an arched entrance immediately to north, beyond which is a square
ashlar gatepier with pyramidal cap and projecting sidestrip. The gatepier stands
to south of the main entrance to Waterstock House (q.v.). Interior not
inspected.
