Farmhouse, now house. Early/mid C17 and C19. Limestone rubble with squared
quoins and timber lintels; pantile roof with stone gable stacks. L-plan,
extended. One storey plus attics. Main range has doorway, now with glazed door,
3-light casement to right and blocked single-light window to left. Wing
projecting to left, has 2-light casement. At first floor are gabled dormers of 2
and 3 lights. All windows have leaded lights. Stone stacks have weathered
offsets. Left gable of main range has a 3-light leaded casement with
ovolo-moulded frame. Wing has been extended by C19 two-window range, parallel to
main range, which contains main entrance. Interior: Open fireplace with
bressumer. Probably the site of medieval settlement of Stowford.
