SP 5902 CUDDESDON AND DENTON DENTON
9/17 Creepy Cottage
GV II

House. Early C17. Timber framing with C19 brick infill and limestone rubble
with timber lintels; thatched roof with brick stacks. 3-unit baffle-entry
plan. 2 storeys. 3-window street front has heavy-framed 4-light casement to
right of centre with similar 3-light window over flanked by renewed 2-, 3-
and 4-light casements; brick ridge stack to left of centre and lateral stack
to extreme right. Entrance at rear. Rear and gable walls are timber-framed
in small panels, right gable wall is also pebbledashed. Roof has single row
of clasped purlins. Rubble wall is probably a casing or rebuilding of a
timber-framed wall. Interior not inspected.
