North gatepier and attached
9/24 wall on west side of stable-
yard at Denton House
GV II

Gatepier and wall. Mid C18. Limestone ashlar and rubble. Ashlar gatepier,
one of a pair flanking the entrance to the stableyard, has a moulded cornice
and ball finial. The wall, curving round to the stables, is of banded rubble
and ashlar with a flat coping sweeping up to the abutments.
