House. Early C18 possibly partly earlier, extended C19. Colourwashed limestone
rubble with some timber framing and brick; thatch roof with brick stacks.
L-plan. One storey plus attic. Front has plank door to right of centre, two
2-light casements to left, and another in a C19 brick extension to right, all
with segmental-arches; 2-light dormers with swept eaves above doorway and
extreme left window. Right gable has some framing. Left gable wall has a large
stepped brick stack with a thatched projection in front plus a low thatched link
to No.47 (q.v.) to left, which abuts the wing at the rear. Roof is half-hipped
to left and at rear of wing. Interior not inspected.
