WALLINGFORD ST. MARY'S STREET SU6089SE (East side) Wallingford 11/144 Nos.20 (Wallingford Discount 09/12/49 Store) and 21 (The Thames Salon) (Formerly listed as Nos.21 and 22)

GV II

House, now shops and dwellings. Early C18 with C20 alterations. Part-rendered unknapped flint plinth; grey brick with red brick dressings; old plain-tile roof; brick end stack to left. 2 storeys and attic; 3-window range. 6-panel door with Doric pilaster surround supporting triangular pediment with fluted frieze, to centre. C20 shop fronts to left and right with C20 glazed doors. Flat brick band between ground and first floor. Three 12-pane unhorned sashes to first floor. Wood dentil cornice to eaves. 2 gabled full dormers with 2-light casements. C20 alterations to ground floor interior.
