Former use unknown, converted into public house, empty at the time of
re-survey. Early C17 street range heightened and re-faced in the C18.
Late C17 and C18 rear range altered in the C19. Brick, flint rubble,
timber-frame. Pantile roofs. L-shape block with long rear range along
yard. Street range:- 3 storeys. 4 bays. Simple pub front with round-
headed windows and off-centre door. Carriage entry at extreme left.
Sash windows at first floor with glazing bars and segmental arches.
Casement windows with glazing bars and segmental arches at 2nd floor.
Moulded brick cornice. Rear range:- 2 storeys, right-side jettied at
first floor. 5 widely spaced first floor windows. Right-hand off-centre
door with fanlight and single-storey canted bay to left. 3-light window
to right of door. Glass lean-to supported on timber columns. Mullion
and transom first floor windows. Small gable-end to the left of jetty
with mullion and transom first floor window. C20 brick top-half to
gable. The left-hand side has 4 windows at ground floor and 2 at first
floor, all boarded at time of re-survey.
