Two houses. c.1770. Coursed limestone rubble; ashlar front with plinth; gabled
stone slate roof; end stacks of stone finished in late C19 brick. Double-depth
plan. 3 storeys and attic; double-fronted symmetrical 6-window range. To right
are keyed stone lintels over early C19 six-panelled door with overlight and
horned 6-pane sashes and smaller second-floor sashes; to left are similar
lintels over C20 door with overlight, similar sashes and mid/late C19
plate-glass first-floor sashes. Deeply-coved cornice. 4 hipped roof dormers.
Interior not inspected. Described as "new houses" in 1779, on site of Globe Inn.
