Dwelling, formerly with shops at ground floor. C18. Rough render, stone slate front
slope and wing, concrete tile back slope; large central stone stacks. T-shaped, with
broad and deep wing in rendered rubble and through-way to Rope Walk, extreme left.
Two storeys, two plus one windowed, sashes with bars and broad surrounds. Double
former shop fronts, early C19, with flat oriel with glazing bars to small panes left,
and similar right, but window flat below bowed top; modern glazed door right.
Rear wing has two-light casements with rectangular leaded panes, and square stair
turret in internal angle including one very small direct glazed opening with two
vertical bars. Two flight oak newel stair round newel, in projecting turret. Deep
chamfered and stopped beams, including first floor back.
