GV II

Barn, cowhouse and stables. Cl7 with mid-to-late C19 alterations and
additions. Weatherboarded timber frame on coursed limestone rubble plinth
and later timber framed and coursed and squared limestone addition; stone
slate roofs. U-plan; 4 framed-bay cowhouse range with 3 framed-bay barn
and stable range at right-angles. 2 storeys. Cl7 framlng: square panels.
Barn to left with boarded loft door in gable-end and boarded door in high
plinth beneath,2-leaf boarded door in right-hand return front and
catslide lean-to to North; central range with open carriageway to left,
open-fronted tallet to right (probably formerly weatherboarded) and 3
boarded cowhouse doors below; stable and granary to right with weather-
boarded gable-end and 2 boarded windows beneath, and left-hand return
front with open carriageway to left, 2 boarded windows in centre, and
ground floor 2-leaf boarded door to right. Interior: barn and cowhouse;
tie-beam trusses with queen-struts, collar and tie-beam truss to South
with queen-struts and V-struts above collar.'
