House. Cl7 with C18 and mid-to-late C19 alterations. Timber framed,
refaced and eaves raised in limewashed coursed limestone rubble; slate
roofs. Possible 'hall' and projecting cross-wing plan. 2 storeys.
Integral lateral brick stack to cross-wing at left and integral stone
end-stack to 'hall' range at right. 'Hall' range with first floor C19
two-light wooden casement and ground floor C19 two- and 3-light wooden
casements flanking central C20 half-glazed door; cross-wing with ground
floor Cl7 wooden mullioned 2-light casement and first floor C19 two-light
casement. Weatherboarded collar and tie-beam truss exposed in gable-end
of cross-wing. The weathering at the base of the stack is evidence of a
possible former thatched roof.
