Converted outbuilding, now inn. C15, converted to house probably in C17 and re-
modelled in the mid-to-late C19 Timber framed, exterior walls refaced
or rebuilt probably in limestone rubble and rendered; slate roof. 2
framed bays with later addition to left. 2 storeys. 3-window front;
2-light C19 first floor casements; 3-light C19 ground floor casements
with transoms and top light with diamond-pattern glazing bars; C20
boarded door with porch between first and second windows from left;
boarded basement door off-centre to left. Inn sign with wrought iron
bracket above door. Interior: 3 full cruck trusses; roof with no
smoke blackening. This was reputedly an outbuilding to Nos. 17 and 19,
High Street (q.v.). C17 or C18 wall painting in central ground floor
