Farmbuildings approximately 10 metres to north and west of Leasowes Farmhouse

Barn, cowhouses, stable, cartshed and granary. C17 with C18, mid-
C19 and late C19 additions. Large L-plan; nine framed bays with additions.
Weatherboarded timber-framed barn and cowhouses with corrugated iron
roofs, coursed limestone rubble additions to South-west with partly
stone slate roof and late C19 timber framed cartshed and granary to
East with brick nogging to first floor and slate roof. One and two
storeys. Framing: square panels, C17 part with four up to wall plate.
North range; south front: five boarded loft doors, four ground-floor
boarded doors alternating with windows, and pair of large boarded barn
doors to left; 2-bay cartshed to right, granary above with boarded
door to left. West range; East front: Timber-framed part to right
has C19 gabled loft dormer with boarded loft door, ground floor 2-leaf
boarded door and window to left, and pair of boarded doors to right.
Stone part to left with 2-leaf boarded door, and left-hand gable-end
with boarded loft door and six tiers of pigeon nesting-holes. INTERIOR:
roofs with two pairs of purlins; C17 double-collar and tie-beam trusses
with queen struts; C18 and later tie-beam trusses with raking queen
struts; cowhouses with late C18 or C19 stalls. Leasowes Farmhouse
is not included in this list.
