House, now house and shop. Circa 1600, partially underbuilt, refaced
and eaves raised in early or mid-C19. Roughcast timber frame with
slate roof. Probably three framed bays. Three storeys. Jettied first floor
to right with shaped brackets; bracketed eaves, integral brick end
stack to left, and brick ridge stack to right. 3-window front; mid-
to late-C19 four-pane sashes with moulded surrounds, second floor
glazing bar sash and ground floor 16-pane glazing bar sash to right;
small first floor mid-C19 sash between first and second windows from
right; ground floor late-C19 delicate cast iron shop front to left
with 2 large plate glass windows flanking central recessed half-glazed
door; half-glazed panelled door off-centre to right. The jetty was
probably continuous across the facade before later rebuildings.
