House, now inn. Mid- to late-C19. Coursed limestone rubble, stuccoed
to front with slate roof. Basement, 2 storeys, and gable-lit attic.
Integral end stack to right with brick top stage, semi-integral brick
end-stack to left, and C20 roof lights. 3-window front; sashes without
glazing bars; 3 ground floor flat-topped canted bays, 2 to right with
tall bases due to slope; 2 half-glazed doors between first and second
windows from left with 3-part rectangular overlights and pilastered
surrounds with frieze and cornice. Included for group value.
