Granary. Early C18. Timber framed first floor with red brick nogging
over red brick ground floor; hipped plain tile and corrugated asbestos
roof. 7 bays. 2 storeys. Framing: light square panels, 3 from first-
floor sole-plate to wall-plate; long straight tension braces. 2 boarded
loft doors in centre and to right, and small window to left; pair of
large ground-floor boarded doors off-centre to right, boarded sliding
door to right, and 2-bay cartshed to left with inserted central steel
post; vents in brickwork at right-hand end. Interior: mixture of
C18 tie-beam trusses with raking queen struts and C19 machine-sawn
king post trusses; chamfered beam in cartshed to left. Cantlop Farmhouse
is not included in this list.
