To the memory [of William Godolphin, (third son to sir William Godolphin, of Godolphin in Cornewall) who after he had lived to be a chiefe ornament to his family, and comfort to his friends, by his many virtues and good life, piously resigned his spirit to Almighty God in the yeare of his age the 25th, and year 1636, and lies here interred.
