Houses, now office and shop. C18. Local cut and squared stone and dressings of
Ham stone, uneven roof with plain clay tiles between coped gables, with brick
chimney stack to south end. 2-storeys, 4-bays. The left-hand shopfront, with a
pair of slightly bowed 15-pane windows on stone stall riser surmounted by thin
fascia-and cornice curved at ends to fit bow windows, could be early C19: the
central door of 1970's pattern. Between the shopfronts a plain door with
rectangular fanlight over, it has a simple flat timber head on brackets. The
right- hand shopfront early C20, plain, the tile windows each divided into
6-panes, the central door part glazed. To first floor a pair of 16-pane sash
windows to left-hand property, and later pair of 4-pane sash windows to
righthand; between the latter a shaped early C20 notice/advertisement board. The
interiors not inspected.
