west of Brympton House

Stable block, now house. Earlier C18, but after 1720. Ham stone ashlar; hipped stone slate roof, 'U'-plan,
single-storey with attic, 7 bays, of which bays 1 and 7 project for 3 bays. Plinth, rusticated quoins, eaves coving:
hollow-chamfered mullioned and transoaed 2-light windows with square labels, with 2-light dormer windows in hipped-roof
dormers over bays 1, 3 5 and 7: to centre bay 4 a pair of part-glazed doors in plain chamfered opening under open
pediment on console brackets; similar door in west return, east wing, and in the east return of the west wing opposite
are 2 four-centre- arched doorways with labels, probably early C19, with pairs boarded doors. Interior not seen, (The
timber-clad extensions to rear, north side, not of special interest).
