Detached house. C17 and C18. Ham stone cut and squared, ashlar dressings; Welsh slate roof between coped gables; stone
chimney stacks. Two-storeys with attics, 4 bays. Plinth, eaves course; hollow-chamfer mullioned windows in wave-mould
recesses, no labels, 3-light above and 4-light below, all rectangular-leaded with some steel-framed opening lights;
between bays 2/3 a projecting porch with eaves course, segmental pediment and segmental lead-covered porch roof, having
a cambered-arched doorway in wave-mould rectangular recess and pair of C20 doors. Extension to north-east corner dated
1868; blocked 2-light window with hood mould on north gable. Interior not seen, but reported in the north wing a
fireplace with oven and stone staircase alongside, and several fireplaces with stone cambered-arched surrounds, other
work much altered: collar and tie-beam roof trusses. (SSAVBRB Report, SRO unpublished, May 1981).
