8/35 The Thatched Cottage


Two cottages, now house. C17, remodelled and probably extended to left in
early/mid C18. Flint rubble with brick dressings. Gabled thatch roof; brick end
stacks. Plan form not determined. One storey and attic; 4-window range.
Segmental brick arches over C20 door, and C20 casements including blocked door;
C20 half-dormer casements. Square timber framing to rear right and right side
wall. Interior not inspected but likely to be of interest.
