9/61 Barn at Manor Farm


Barn. C16, extended 4 bays to left in C18. Weatherboarding, mainly C20 but old
at upper level, over timber frame on limestone rubble base; gabled asbestos
sheet roof. 5-bay extended to 9-bay plan with 2 threshing floors. Iron sheet
sliding doors to left; plank double doors to right. C16 gabled porch to rear
right. Interior: jowled and braced posts to 5-bay arch-braced collar-truss roof,
with clasped purlins and paired lower principals. C18 four-bay collar-truss roof
to left.
