Very large mid Victorian bank in palazzo style. Set back slightly from its neighbours.
3 storeys. Red stone facings with ashlar dressings to upper floors, ashlar on
ground floor. End bays set back slightly. Elaborate eaves cornice with brackets.
Pantile roof. Sill band to 2nd floor with nailhead ornament and brackets. Panelled
sill band to lst floor. 6 windows, architraves to 2nd floor, panelled surrounds
with volute brackets and cornices to 1st floor. Sashes without glazing bars.
Cornices over rusticated ground floor with impost string, sill band and panelled
plinth. 4 tall round-headed windows in centre. Entrance with double doors under
round-headed fanlight to left. Similar larger entrance on right.

Nos 10 to 14 (even) form a group.
