3 storey early C19 dark red brick front. Return wall at left of front with exposed
corner supported by iron column. Projecting eaves, slate roof. 2 windows with
triangular heads and painted diamond keystones. Wooden reveals and diagonal glazing
bars. Narrow windows with similar detail in exposed end of left wall. Later
C19 shop front inserted on left with original round-headed glazing divisions.
Fluted pilasters, Gothic caps and foliated spandrels. Entrances in splay to left.
A second shop front runs from right.

Nos 18, 20, The Vintage Public House and No 24 form a group.
