Shown on OS map as Eastbrook Farm. Farmhouse now pair of cottages and
farmbuilding. Circa 1850, farmbuilding altered late C20. Possibly by C E
Giles. Chert random rubble, Ham stone mullions and quoins, patterned
clay tiles, decorative ridge tiles, overhanging eaves, sprockets, large
central stack with 8 angled brick chimney pots. Plan: pair of cottages linked
to farmbuilding. One and a half storeys, 2 bays distinguished by central quoins, 2
gables projecting through eaves with blank panels and 3-light many paned
casements, ground floor 4-light casements under relieving arches,
entered on returns. Linked right by single storey wing to farmbuilding set back
gable end onto road; chert random rubble,slate roof, coped verges, C20
windows in gable end. Forms good group with Nos 36-42 (qv) opposite and part of
the Eastbrook estate.
