GV II

House. Late C16 - early C17, enlarged C18. Rendered over random rubble, slate roof, brick stacks to left of entrance,
right gable end. 3 cell lobby entrance with back to back fireplaces, one bay service wing addition to East. 2-storeys
with basement below service wing, 3:1 bays; 16 pane sash windows, slate hung right return, service wing 3-light C20
leaded casement first floor, 16 pane sash window below, 2 square headed basement openings. Entrance between second and
third bays left, double doors reached by flight of 4 steps, flat roofed wooden pilaster porch 4-centred arch front with
ogee headed returns. The two left-hand bays are now part of Kingsland (qv) and this was one property until the mid
C20.
