House. C17 or earlier. Timber framed with rendered infilling. Plain tile
roof. Approximately 3 timber-framed bays. 2 storeys. Broadly-spaced studding.
Arch brace towards each end of first floor. Roof half-hipped to left,
gabled to right. Multiple brick ridge stack to right gable end. Irregular
fenestration of 3 small 2-light leaded casements. Boarded door to left end
of central bay. Short single-storey addition in stone to right gable end.
Rear wing to left. Interior not inspected. Formerly known as "Cottage at
Boughton Quarries next to the last item on the north-east, occupier Littlewood".
