GV II

Farmhouse. C16 or earlier with C17 alterations and C19 facade. Timber
framed. Front elevation C19 red brick in Flemish bond. Plain tile roof.
3 timber-framed bays; probably open hall of one or two bays, with
storeyed end bay or bays, converted to lobby entry plan in C17. 2 storeys.
Hipped roof. Brick ridge stack off-centre to left. Irregular fenestration
of 4 casements; two 3-light with top lights, rising above wall-plate with
eaves gabled over them, and 2 single-light casements. Ground floor windows
with segmental heads. Ribbed door in C20 flat-roofed brick porch beneath
stack. Rear lean-to. Interior: exposed framing. Coupled rafters to roof,
only partly inspected.
