6/94 & 9/94 Sheep House atTR 011 250
(Cold Harbour Farm)

Sheep house or Looker's Hut. Circa 1900. Brick with corrugated iron
roof. Rectangular. Hipped roof. Projecting shouldered stack to long
east side. Blocked windows to north and south. Boarded door to east.
Used by shepherd or "looker" during lambing. Said to be one of the
largest of about 12 remaining huts (356 recorded in 1870).(E. Carpenter,
Romney Marsh Yesteryears, 1983).
