Tower fourth stage, north east aspect. The rough red coursed granite stops abruptly at the bottom of the bell chamber openings and a paler ashlar (squared and faced stone) is used instead. Clasping buttresses. Pinnacles with small crockets. In the middle of the battlements, above the water spout, is a stone tablet with the date of the rebuild, 1762. (Photo Apr 2009).
