Walls to Manor House Garden

A Grade II Listed Building in Welham, Leicestershire

Walls to Manor House Garden, Welham

Uploader's Comments

Wall. Probably C17 or earlier. Coursed ironstone rubble with raking top and ashlar coping, roll moulded at apex. About 8 foot high, the wall forms a boundary with Churchyard and runs along Bowden Lane and is all that survives of the former hall, replaced in the early C18. (Photo Apr 2008).
