SP 79 SE WELHAM MAIN STREET (South East Side)

7/121 The Old Rectory

GV II


House. Later C18. Coursed ironstone rubble with Welsh slate roof. Two storeyed,
3 unit plan. Principal elevation faces South East and has one bay to left
of doorway which has small pedimented wood porch. Windows are all 2-light
casements but the outer first floor lights are longer and lower, and have wood
lintels. Ground floor windows also have wood lintels, the others are stone
flat splayed with voussoirs. Three 2-light casements to ground floor rear
overlooking the Churchyard, and one above, all with flat splayed stone heads.
