7/2 Walled Garden and
gardener's bothy

Walled garden and gardener's bothy.. Mid C19, altered C20. Built as part of
Aswarby Park Estate for the Whichcote family. Red brick in English garden
wall bond of 3, tiled copings. A large rectangular garden surrounded by
high walls with 4 small planked doors with segmental brick arched heads. On
the north side is a pair of planked doors, now with C20 concrete lintels,
also an attached gardener's bothy with pent slate roofs and 2 plain sashes
beneath segmental brick arches to the garden side. Included for group value
only.
