A Grade II Listed Building in Ludford, Lincolnshire

Medieval cross base and fragment of shaft at Ludford, Lincolnshire

Uploader's Comments

A socket stone (cross base) and a fragment of an octagonal shaft in churchyard at Ludford. Socket stone is square with chamfer and is shallow (0.15m) for its type - also exhibits a circular hole - unusual as these normally square. Probably not in situ but moved to Ch'yard from elsewhere
