This gate pier (right of photo) is one of a pair at the former entrance to Lockington Hall. The gate piers are largely hidden behind a brick wall on Church Street Lockington (to the left of the photo) among trees and undergrowth. The remaining access to Lockington Hall is from Main Street Lockington.
