South west aspect. House built c1600. Timber-framed with whitewashed render infill, the front and side elevation with very fine close studding. Studs on gable ends and to left side are arranged diagonally, with upright baluster studs between first and second floor windows. Granite rubble plinth, Swithland slate roof
