Manor house with gabled wings. The roof tiling is local Swithland slate. The tops of the brick chimneys have a 45 degree twist in them. The chamfered stone coping on the gables is crowned by finials that appear to have broken off. The kneelers on the right hand gable coping are newer blocks with simple pyramids. This gable end is in red brick with a blue brick lozenge in the gable. The window heads are shallow brick arches. The left hand wing is of red brick with blue vitreous headers, giving a chequered pattern. The storeys are indicated by decorative brick bands with a cogged design and this is continued as a frieze above the gable windows. The majority of the windows are horizontal sliding sashes. Above the door with its stone surround and lintel is a blocked single light window. The house sits on a plinth of granite rubble: the larger pieces of stone belong to the older wing.
