Terraced town house. c.1770-80 Portland Estate development. Stock brick with
channelled stucco ground floor; slate roof. 4 storeys and basement. 3-window wide
astylar front. Semicircular arched doorway to left; panelled door with side lights
and panelled dividers, cornice-doorhead and radial swagged pattern to fanlight.
Recessed sashes, under stucco voussoired and keystoned flat arches to upper floors.
1st floor plat band. Parapet with coping. Cast iron balconettes to 1st floor.
Flambé urn finials to area railings. Interior not inspected. L.C.C. plaque
recording residence of the historian Henry Hallam.
