End of terrace town house. 1825-26 by Samuel Baxter, builder. Stucco
with channelled ground floor, slate roof. 4 storeys, basement and
dormered mansard. 3 windows wide. Entrance to right approached by 2
steps, recessed 6 - panel door with patterned lunette fanlight;
semicircular arched ground floor windows, the channelling struck to
arches. Upper floors have glazing bar sashes, and French casements on
1st floor, in shallow architraves, those on 1st floor with cornices
over. 1st floor balcony with original delicate iron balustrade;
crowning entablature with 2 pseudo antique busts. Cast iron spear
head area railings. Interior retains simple Regency mouldings,
despite alterations,and geometric stone staircase with slender cast
iron balusters.
