Houses. c1820-30 with a few mid and late C19 alterations. Stucco faced range. Slate
roof with dormers. 2 storeys and attic. Bowed centrepiece with wings: 3:2:3:2:
1890s entrance bay. The bow has giant order of single and paired Corinthian pilasters
and the wings have vermiculated pilaster strips. Main entablature with modillion
cornice and blocking course. Architraves to sash windows with glazing bars with
cornices on ground floor. Doric porches added mid C19 to entrances of Nos 11 and 12.
Entrance No 10A has 1890s large entrance with banded pilasters, heavy cornice and
segmental pediment with swept upstands. Area has spear head cast iron railings. Good
interior retaining friezes and cornices, principal rooms with pilastered framework to
chimneypiece walls. Chimneypieces of statuary marble etc.
