Nos 17 and 18

GV II Pair of houses. Mid C19. Yellow-brown brick with stucco dressings. 2 storeys and basement. Asymmetrical. 2 bays with further gabled projecting bay to right and recessed entrance bays to each side. Panelled doors with overlights in stucco surrounds, later alteration to No 18 with recessed door. Mullion and transom windows in stucco surrounds. 1st floor band. Chamfered mullion windows to 1st floor in stucco surrounds. Moulded band to eaves and gable with decorative 'bosses'. Parapet. Finial to gable. Fish scale tile roof with gable coping. Included for group value only.
