3 houses. Mid/late C18 and mid C19 but incorporating a house
of early C18. Watershot hammer-dressed stone with graduated
stone slate roof. Double-depth houses with a total of 4 bays
and 3 storeys. Bays 2 and 3 incorporate the early house
which has stone quoins, square-cut door surrounds and 4 and
6-light stone mullion windows; some flat-faced, some
recessed flat-faced and one (the earliest) double-chamfered.
The second floor was added in late C18/early C19 after the
construction of bay 1 (No. 6). Bay 1 has a square-cut door
surround to left and each floor has a 5, 6, or 7-light
recessed chamfered mullion window with king mullion and
several mullions removed. Bay 4, of mid C19, has a window on
each floor, an eaves cornice and is higher than the other
bays. It is now part of No.2. Ridge chimney stacks rebuilt
in brick.
