1/50 Tudor Cottage

GV II

House or small barn, now house. C17 or earlier. Timber framed. Ground floor
rendered, first floor weatherboarded. Exposed framing to right gable end,
of 2 intermediate full-height posts and midrail, with painted brick infilling.
Plain tile roof. 2 storeys on rendered plinth. Steeply-pitched hipped roof with
gablets. Central brick ridge stack in front slope of roof. Irregular
fenestration of two 3-light horizontally-sliding sashes. Boarded door in small
rendered lean-to to rear of right gable end. Interior not inspected. Formerly
known as "Cottage at Boughton Green adjoining Lewis Court on the north-east
(occupier Kemp)".
