Hall house. C15 and C18.Timber framed and partly clad in painted
brick with painted rubble plinth; plain tile roof. 2 storeys
with end jetties, and hipped roof with large stack centre left
and stack rear-right. 3 bays, with screens passage (?) now with
inserted stack. Central bay ground floor rebuilt in painted
brick, with first-floor joists at higher level than 2 side bays,
suggesting infilled and ceiled-over central recessed hall of
"Wealden" house. Irregular fenestration of 3 casement windows.
C20 plank door centre left. Rear wing: early C18 red brick,
with hipped plain tile roof. 2 storeys with plinth and plat band
and stack to right. Two windows to each floor, wood casements,
with segmental heads to ground floor.
