The photo was probably taken in the 60's. before colour film was popular.the 2 windows on the ground floor to the right off the garage were the sash windows of the large sitting room.Above was an equally large bedroom that easily took 4 single beds with plenty of space for wardrobes and other furniture. The lower right hand window was the playroom which had a table tennis table and was left unfurnished. The window above was a bedroom with 2 single beds, we called The Blue Bedroom. The older part of the house is to the left of the porch. That part had stone flag flooring. the newer addition ( not sure when it was added ) had wooden floors throughout.
