Two houses, late C17th with C18th and C19th additions and alterations.
Slobbered rubble with stone slate roof. 2 storeys. South wall has windows
spaced irregularly. Marshaw Cottage, at the left, has 2 ground-floor
windows with rendered surrounds, the right-hand one smaller. On the 1st
floor are 2 windows with plain reveals. Door, at the left, has plain
reveals. White Moor Cottage is to the right beyond a straight joint. To
the left of its door it has a one-light window with hollow-chamfered
surround. To the right is a sashed window with plain stone surround. On
the 1st floor are 2 2-light hollow-chamfered mullioned windows. The door
has plain reveals. At the rear the straight joint suggests that. White Moor
Cottage is older, but Marshaw Cottage, to the right, has a 5-light rebated
and chamfered mullioned window, with a one-light hollow-chamfered fire
window beyond to the right. At the left a C19th wing of White Moor Cottage
projects forwards.
