The Old Forge Ightham

Uploader's Comments

This buiding was occupied by George King who was a part owner of F & G King builders during the first half of the 20th century. Fred King lived in a cottage to the left which has now been demolished. The workshops were in the adjacent buildings - carpenters shop, paint shop and forge. There is a fire pit to the left where they fitted tyres to the wagon wheels and a large garage behind the building on the lefthand side.
