Ice house. Circa late C18. Brick. Subterranean structure under slight earth mound. Domed brick chamber of about 16ft deep [partly infilled] and 12ft in diameter, and a brick segmental vaulted entrance passage with a right-angle bend, the outer doorway rebated for a door. There are jambs for doors inside the passage. The chamber is, at least partly, of cavity brick construction.
