Public house, originally known as Ram Inn, early C19. Coursed sandstone
rubble, slate roof with gable chimney stacks. Double depth 3-bay plan. Three
storeys, symmetrical; round-headed doorway with plain surround and fanlight,
horned sashed windows without glazing bars, with straight sills and heads,
all, except those in the centre, coupled with central square mullion; top
floor windows shorter. Rear has altered masonry and openings, but includes
some coupled boxed sashed windows. Interior: original 4-room plan survives,
with some wall settle seating.
