Statue of Hugh Stowell Brown

A Grade II Listed Building in Central, Liverpool

damaged unprotected head of the statue

Uploader's Comments

This damaged unprotected head of the statue shows how the white marble statue is unsuitably stored away from public view since the 1980's. It is on its back allowing water to pond and seeming to dissolve the marble. Recent mechanical damage is also highlighted by the bright white of the marble compared to the weathered stone.
